Do Wisdom Teeth Always Have to be Removed?

How Will I Know When It's Time For Wisdom Teeth Extraction?

The decision to remove or extract wisdom teeth isn't always clear. If extraction is recommended, the surgery will be performed in our office, under appropriate anesthesia to maximize your comfort. We also take care of other difficult and complex extractions. Is 2018 Your Year to Improve Your Smile?

Many patients ask us about dental treatments such as Bonding & Veneers. Our friends at the Canadian Dental Association say, "Dental treatments like dental bonding and veneers are not only used to fix cavities or broken teeth but can also be used to improve the look of healthy teeth. Veneers are applied to the entire front surface of the tooth, whereas bonding is applied to a smaller portion of the tooth. Rather than submerging one titanium implant for each missing tooth, the ALL-ON-4 procedure uses only 4 implants secured to the lower or upper jawbone. The implants are then used to attach a full prosthetic arch of new replacement teeth. This way, the implants preserve the structural integrity of your jawbone by minimizing gaps produced from missing teeth. You'll look and feel younger instantly.

What's the Difference Between Dentures and ALL-ON-4 Dental Implants?

A typical denture uses your soft gum tissue for support. Over time, bone loss will occur and the denture itself will become unstable and uncomfortable. In addition to this, the jaw structure often deteriorates and denture wearers experience ongoing bone loss. Denture wearers are often forced to adopt softer diets, because they just can't eat or crunch the foods they previously enjoyed. Take apples for instance... are you eating a whole apple or applesauce?
